Phase 2

Phase 2 takes you beyond just weight training to use some techniques you may not have thought would fit in with fat burning exercises. Surprise!

What Jillian does here is she begins to help you implement moves that will shed more fat and sculpt your desirable shape.

Phase 3

Finally, in Phase 3 everything you’ve learned really comes together. Things like power yoga and hardcore boot-camp moves are mixed together to make the most of muscle confusion science. So you’ll know, muscle confusion is the basis for the PX90 workouts.

All that means is that your body will not have the chance to get accustomed to the same routine and plateau. Keep your muscles guessing and you will continue to see progress and improvement.

The actual workouts are only 30 minutes long, but we are talking about going full out and very intense.

Michaels uses what she calls “metabolic training” which is her spin on the much buzzed HIIT, or high-intensity interval training. Same sort of thing that the Insanity workout is based on.

What about HIIT?

If you’re not familiar with HIIT, it’s a workout style that doesn’t allow any rest periods before switching from one movement to the next.

There are speed ups and slow downs with HIIT – but no resting!

By using this principal your body will burn a lot more calories within a shorter period of time.

As was mentioned earlier on, an important part of this program is the nutrition guide. In fact, the first week is designed to jump-start your fat loss.

The step by step, 72 page plan details how to eat to optimize your weight loss during the three-month program.

I really do think she is offering up all the info you need to be successful with her combo of exercises and eating plan.  The only thing missing is that she’s not in your house following you around all day!

But what you do have for your 90 days of transformation is a customizable, mix & match meal plan to cover each day. That’s 90 days of pre-planned menus to choose from.  It covers Jillian’s “Yes Food and No Food List” plus her special tips for healthy cooking and eating.

Maybe one day technology will allow for a life-sized hologram of Jillian to appear beside you and push you through the programs each day!

What Real Users Said About the Jillian Michaels Body Revolution

At last check, there were over 522 five star reviews out of 695 rating just on Amazon alone.

I couldn’t figure out why there were 111 reviews that give it only 4 stars when they all had very positive things to say!

Some of the 3 star reviewers claimed the workout was not suitable for them because of medical issues like bad joints.

As for the few 2 and 1 star reviews… some were due to service delay issues related to shipping. One was not happy about Jillian’s use of certain words (she called her a “potty mouth”) so she gave it a low rating!
